Alpaca Adventure

This was one of the most 𝓂𝒶𝑔𝒾𝒸𝒶𝓁 𝓂𝑜𝓂𝑒𝓃𝓉𝓈 of my life. Of course, it isn’t everyone’s dream, but it was one of mine. My incredible other half booked me an experience, for a not only half a day a whole day. With these affectionate gorgeous loveable animals!

So when arriving at this stunning vintage house in the middle of the countryside.. sitting in the car and looking out the window to see what my surprise would be! “ALPACA EXPERIENCE” I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. As you can tell by my face below, excitement was an understatement.
We go into the entrance, where we meet our tour guides 𝓂𝓇 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝓂𝓇𝓈 𝓌𝑜𝑜𝓁𝓁𝓎, they shared with us lots interesting facts about the animals on the farm that I never knew about! I appreciated all the information given to me, especially it being about these beautiful creatures they have on their farm.

So while taking snaps of everything around me, and trying to control my excitement. I turn around and guess what I see.. a pack of alpacas not one but bloody fourteen of them. I squeak out loud “𝑒𝑒𝑒𝑒𝑒𝑒𝑒𝑒𝑒𝓀𝓀𝓀𝓀𝓀𝓀𝓀𝓀”

So while 𝓂𝓇 𝓌𝑜𝑜𝓁𝓁𝓎 herds the group of alpacas up and puts them in a pen, which is behind us in the photo above I was looking at all the unique names that had been given to each cutie.
As it was my 𝒷𝒾𝓇𝓉𝒽𝒹𝒶𝓎 𝓉𝓇𝑒𝒶𝓉 I was given an adorable card and then I got to choose what alpaca I wanted to walk. It was near enough impossible, BUT one beauty caught my eye! “𝑔𝑜𝓃𝓏𝑜.”

So everyone picked there alpaca and off we set for our adventure. We walked for an hour across the beautiful countryside. Rhys had the alpha of the pack, I was just behind him with one of the twins. What a fantastic experience I couldn’t tell you how funny it was. Maybe some photos below could give you a good idea of how my day went.

After the walk, we went up to the farmhouse to give milk to the baby goats, so sweet.
They are like little living hot water bottles, Warm and cuddly.
By the way, this is Pickle.

So after my Alpaca experience, Rhys surprised me with adoption papers for Gonzo! I was so happy! If that wasn’t enough, we got to feed the goats and spend time with the farm dogs.
At the end of the day, we all sat down and filled our tummies up with the warm freshly cooked scones and a nice cuppa! Then out of nowhere a birthday cake appeared and everyone sang.(embarrassing)

The gift shop was small but such amazing things to buy.
As always I got carried away. You guys have got to try the Alpaca wool socks they are so warm and toasty, The Harry Potter colours of the socks was such a bonus.

Love Always
